Among the smartest and longest lived animals we can ever hope to interact with and it was willing to learn this stupid trick to amuse its human friend.
Thank you patient bird.
Stop thinking: “I’m not talented enough to execute this concept.”
Start thinking: “I’m going to be a stronger artist when I’ve finished this piece.”if you still hesitate, remember that you can always redraw the piece in the future!
This goes for musicians, vocalists, and actors too!
And writers!
Do not forget the 200 Lakota women and children that were murdered.
A friend and I were having a discussion about gun violence and such, probably about 2-3 years ago, and he asked me, “what do you think the largest mass murder was in us history” and I was like, “Virginia Tech right?”
And he said, “Wounded Knee. People like to think of it as some war theater, like it was a battle, but hundreds of innocent native Americans lost their lives for no reason than the bloodthirst of a couple white soldiers jacked into a frenzy.”
I always forget Wounded Knee. I think everyone else does too.
“ It’s armor. On a woman. It doesn’t have to look feminine.”
If I ever don’t reblog this, it’s because I’m dead.
game devs take note
What a weird impulse. Why would you need it to look feminine? Or masculine? It’s armor to protect your body from death. Not dying should be gender neutral.
Not dying should be gender neutral

Punk’s (definitely) Not Dead (it has just turned activistic)!
Young Burmese punks attempt to combat their country’s rising homelessness crisis on week nights, as part of the worldwide Food Not Bombs movement, by distributing clothes and meals that they cook themselves, financed by donations.
This Burmese project has been running for three years now, led by members of local punk band Rebel Riot:
“I realized I had to do something, rather than just sing about changing the system,”
Kyaw Kyaw, Rebel Riot’s singer/guitarist
Cudos to my friend of almost thirty years derlandstreicher for submitting this one.
This is punk as fuck and I love it.
soon: comfy sweaters, hot beverages in cups, leaves crunching under your feet, drops of rain against the window, reading your book in bed
This post just fucked me up
